Meet your therapist, Francesca.
I was born in Portsmouth but I have lived in Buxton for most of my life.
My passion for wellbeing runs through everything I do-after embarking on my own wellness and fitness journey, I Lost 7 stone and went on to run the London Marathon.
When I was made redundant from a job I loved, I decided it was time for a new direction. At 30, I went to college and qualified in level 2 and 3 Beauty Therapy.
Work experience in a local salon quickly turned into a role I loved, and I spent seven years honing my skills and learning what truly makes clients feel cared for. Eventually, I knew I wanted to do things my own way.
When it came to naming the salon, my (then) 13-year-old son suggested“Francesca’s Beauty Spot” . It felt special that he could be part of the journey too. After five extremely busy months working solo, I realised I needed support from someone who share my values and the answer was right infront of me: my sister. Today, I’m proud to have built a loyal client base over twelve years in buisnes, and many clients have become good friends.
My favourite TREATment is looking after my clients feet, feet are so important to your overall wellbeing; healthy feet help you to stay comfortable and mobile. My second passion is hair removal, which led me to qualify in Laser Hair Removal and invest in specialist equipment; the results have been incredible, and it’s a genuine privilege to help clients achieve outcomes they never thought possible.
